It grew from a lifelong relationship with aromatherapy and organic skincare — and the belief that care should feel as good as it is considered.

That connection was shaped early on by Kala’s mother-in-law, Judith White — a pioneer of aromatherapy in Australia and the author of ten books. Her work centred on plants, practice, and the steady intelligence of the body.

What began as a personal ritual has become a brand grounded in intention, consistency, and modern formulation.
